Our Company operates the facilities built through its investments and performs facility-management tasks with its own staff. Our activity covers planning, organising, executing, managing and monitoring operations-related work.

The main goal is to achieve, maintain and improve customer satisfaction alongside full compliance with our contractual obligations. We meet customer-specific needs while applying the principles of climate awareness, reliability and energy efficiency. This is supported by the system of procedures and instructions defined in the Integrated Management System and by their execution. As a result, high-quality work can be ensured.

For electricity sales we offer customers the services provided by our Regulation Center. To increase operational efficiency we use our in-house developed integrated operations- and maintenance-support software (extRIM), available to any authorised employee at every site of the Company.

Leveraging this experience and the portfolio effect, we also operate new or existing energy systems owned by our partners, guaranteeing the delivery of the requested energy types.

Operated energy types — our operations and facility-management activity covers the procurement of required primary energy, the production of the relevant energy form, and its supply:

• electricity
• natural gas
• heat (hot water, steam)
• cooling energy
• treated water
• compressed air
• industrial gases
• wastewater treatment and disposal

In gas procurement we also pass on the benefits of our portfolio to our partners.

We have provided this service for more than 10 years, striving in every area to maintain key technological equipment and systems in cooperation with our strategic partners, involving our own maintenance staff.

Framework agreements with the manufacturers of our high-value equipment ensure a reliable supply of parts, high-standard execution of required maintenance and continuous availability.

Leveraging our decade-long experience, modern equipment and skilled staff, we also diagnose and maintain our partners’ equipment. The main goal of our maintenance activity is to ensure the highest possible availability of equipment and to deliver long-term economical and cost-effective operation.

The service begins with preventive maintenance, followed by execution and a final re-check. Throughout the entire process we use diagnostic equipment and methods to monitor the condition of critical equipment and parts, and the evaluation determines their current state:

• non-destructive material testing

Where necessary we intervene to prevent more serious failures or longer outages. By applying Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methods we pay heightened attention to ensuring continuous operation of equipment and to people’s and the technology’s safety.

Maintenance team

• The ALTEO Group’s maintenance-services business has been performing rotating-machinery maintenance since 2003.
• A 32-strong experienced team maintains 60 MW of our own gas-engine capacity nationwide.
• At the industrial park near Polgár we have a 1,000 m² maintenance workshop.
• The 32-strong maintenance staff has significant experience maintaining every type of equipment used in power-plant technology. The team includes 11 gas-engine maintainers (2 engineers, 4 service technicians, 5 mechanics), employed by ALTEO.
• We provide 24/7 supervision for premium clients and offer emergency call-outs within a few hours.

Our Company finances its investments using equity, bank loans and, where available, grants. We typically use bank financing in a project-finance setup, an area in which our colleagues have substantial experience.

For an investment we are also prepared to provide full own financing or co-financing with the partner, according to the partner’s intentions and capabilities.

We also have experience using investment grants — two of our investments were delivered with KEOP grant support.
