Role of the Compliance Committee

In order to ensure that compliance duties are performed effectively and free from influence, the Ethics, Compliance and Control Organisation (ECK) of ALTEO Nyrt. is independent of all other organisational units, operates directly under the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, and has a direct reporting obligation to the Company’s Supervisory Board.

Compliance Committee members

The Compliance Committee consists of 7 permanent members:

  • the Chief Executive Officer,
  • the Director of Ethics, Compliance and Control,
  • the Director of Accounting,
  • the Director of Legal Affairs,
  • the Director of Sustainability and HSE,
  • the Deputy CEO for Strategic HR and Communications, and a
  • designated member of the Supervisory Board (SB).

The Compliance Committee operating within the Company takes a position in every case where those concerned raise a complaint in connection with an ethics report or a completed compliance investigation, and it also reviews and — if in agreement — approves the ECK’s annual work plan and annual report.
