By 2030, ALTEO aims to develop and acquire a 1.5–2 GW renewable platform in its primary and secondary focus countries to aid in the green transition and sustainable futures of those countries, and create value through its operations both internationally and domestically.

An ambitious strategy backed by strong owners

With an ambitious 2025 to 2030 strategy, ALTEO is expanding via organic growth and acquisitions, leveraging strong owners and capital background. MOL Group owns 39.97% of ALTEO's shares, with Lead Ventures — a private equity and venture capital firm — owning 33.81%; the remainder is free-float or in ALTEO's ownership.

A successful domestic record

ALTEO has had a very successful development domestically within Hungary, growing to a 300+ M EUR market cap, 261 M EUR revenue, 49 M EUR EBITDA, and a 50 M EUR CAPEX in the 2024 fiscal year, with ALTEO's stock price increasing significantly since its listing on the Budapest Stock Exchange.

Meet the International Relations team

Attila Megyimóri
Director for International Relations · Since March 2025

Attila leads the organisational unit responsible for coordinating ALTEO’s international relations and supporting the company’s regional expansion strategy, in line with ALTEO’s publicly announced objectives through 2030. Prior to joining ALTEO, Attila built his career in the energy and industrial sectors, holding senior finance and strategy roles within multinational groups. His previous positions include management roles at MOL Group-affiliated companies and INA Group, where he worked in corporate finance, controlling, and business evaluation functions.
