What types of waste do you manage?
ALTEO Circular provides a complex waste management service: we manage electronic waste (WEEE), battery waste, metal waste, packaging waste, hazardous waste, as well as construction-demolition and other industrial waste streams.
What is complex waste management?
Our complex waste management means that, as a single partner, we provide the entire service chain: onsite presence at the partner’s site, transport, processing and data reporting — all with listed-company-grade transparency and compliance.
What permits do you hold?
Our companies hold a broad portfolio of permits for waste management, transport and trade. In addition, we are the only company in Hungary and the region to hold the international R2v3 certification. Our certificates and permits can be downloaded on the Sustainability page.
How can I request a quote?
You can send us your request for a quote by filling in the quote request form available on our website, or directly via our commercial team’s contact details. On the form you can specify the type of waste, the estimated quantity and where it is generated — based on this, our colleagues will contact you with a tailored offer.
Can you provide onsite management?
Yes, we have an onsite presence at more than 50 industrial partners. As part of our on-location service we provide day-to-day waste management, surveys and expert advice — even with turnkey site establishment.
What is DRS?
DRS (deposit return scheme) is Hungary’s packaging deposit return system. As a MOHU concession partner, ALTEO Circular operates a DRS plant with 3 sites and nationwide coverage — with one of the most modern return technologies in Hungary and Central Europe.
How do you support EPR compliance?
As part of our packaging waste management service, we provide collection, transport and processing by material stream in line with legal obligations — supporting our partners’ extended producer responsibility (EPR) compliance.
What reports do you provide?
We provide auditable documentation, regulatory data reporting and partner reports — with listed-company-grade transparency. With the waste balance visualisation currently under development, our partners will be able to track their material streams in real time.
What happens to the waste after processing?
Our goal is to return as high a proportion of waste as possible to the economic cycle. We sort, prepare and recycle by material stream — with in-house laboratory precious-metal content analysis ensuring the recovery of valuable secondary raw materials.
