The ALTEO Group’s operations are founded on an integrated management approach that ensures quality, environmental protection, workplace safety, energy efficiency and legal compliance are enforced in a single, unified system across our energy activities. Operating the systems in an integrated way enables ALTEO to perform at the highest international standard at any given time. This also ensures compliance with applicable law and stakeholder expectations. We are proud that, since introducing our management systems, our external audits have been conducted without finding any major non-conformities.
The Integrated Management Policy is the system’s founding document, in which leadership commits to quality, safe operation, energy awareness, environmental protection and sustainability.
Six certified management frameworks
The ALTEO Group maintains an integrated management system under five ISO standards and an international maintenance safety-management certification. Each is audited by an accredited certification body.
Our circular business line is not part of the energy-focused integrated management system due to differing sector-specific standards; however, the subsidiaries of our waste management business line also operate systems certified to numerous international standards: FE Group — memberships and certificates, ALTEO Circular.
Plan · Do · Check · Act
We operate ALTEO’s integrated management system within the ISO-style PDCA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act) — in a continuous loop of planning, doing, checking and acting.
Planning
Defining objectives, risks and responsibilities based on the Integrated Management Policy — every management system (QMS, EMS, OHSMS, EnMS, ISMS) in a shared planning framework.
Operation
Day-to-day execution of integrated processes — simultaneously applying quality, safe operation, energy awareness, environmental protection and sustainability.
Monitoring
Internal audits and audits by an accredited external certification body — every external audit since our management systems were introduced has been completed without major non-conformities.
Intervention
Continuous improvement — based on findings from management review, the policy, objectives and processes are regularly revised to maintain the highest international standard at all times.
Scope of the management system
The certifications cover ALTEO Plc.’s and its group members’ activities and the related sites. The exact list of legal entities and audit-cycle confirmation requires sign-off by the corporate-governance department.
