Responsible conduct toward the environment and society
ALTEO connects to the UN goal on making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe and sustainable (**SDG 11**) through its occupational-health and CSR activities. Promoting eco-friendly transport, reducing greenhouse-gas emissions and waste from production are pillars of our social responsibility.
**By the end of 2023** we develop a detailed CSR plan and **by 2025** we aim to reach the point of devoting at least **500 work-hours per year** at group level. We have also established an employee education programme on sustainability topics, which we continuously expand.
We emphasise that our corporate events are all **carbon-neutral**, and we strive to maintain this consistently.
Three pillars, one commitment
Social responsibility covers three mutually reinforcing areas — toward our colleagues, our industrial partners and the broader community.
Initiatives and commitments
ALTEO has taken an active role in domestic and international sustainability bodies.

Education and measurement
We build the social-sustainability dialogue through two complementary programmes — an education programme and a representative population survey.
In addition to society — environment and governance
ALTEO’s ESG framework rests on three pillars. View the overarching strategy and the detailed pages for the other two pillars.
