Diversity that creates value
At ALTEO we believe that diversity strengthens our community and contributes to our shared success. The different experiences, perspectives, knowledge and individual strengths of our colleagues create value that supports collaboration, innovation and continuous development.
We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where every colleague is treated with respect, appreciation and equal opportunity. It matters to us that our colleagues can work authentically, can develop their abilities, and can actively contribute to our shared results.
Equal opportunity is a defining principle already during our selection processes: we evaluate every applicant on the basis of their abilities, professional experience and suitability for the given position.
What our diversity commitment is built on
Employee wellbeing, family-friendly operation
An important part of building a diverse and inclusive workplace is paying attention to the physical and mental wellbeing of our colleagues. Our goal is that performance and wellbeing should not be competing considerations but mutually reinforcing ones.
ALTEO Fit
Through health-preservation, sports and wellbeing initiatives we encourage our colleagues towards an active, health-conscious lifestyle, complemented by health insurance and comprehensive screening programmes.
Hybrid and flexible working
It helps to reconcile work and family responsibilities, responding to different life situations.
Part-time work
For mothers raising small children and returning after having children.
Support for fatherhood
When a newborn child arrives, we support our male colleagues with additional days off beyond the statutory framework, because family responsibility does not concern mothers alone. We aim to build a corporate culture that regards the family role of both mothers and fathers as natural and worth supporting.
Supporting female leaders and talents
The energy sector is traditionally male-dominated, but we are working to make the profession and the leadership career path equally accessible and attractive to everyone. We pay particular attention to the professional development of our female colleagues and leaders.
Women Leaders' Club
It provides an opportunity to exchange experience, to learn from one another, to strengthen professional relationships and to hold an open dialogue about leadership challenges. Its aim is to strengthen the community, visibility and professional confidence of female leaders, and to support the emergence of the next generation of leaders.
Equal opportunities for development
We support our colleagues' development with training, mentoring, professional programmes and knowledge-sharing opportunities. We strive to ensure that every colleague has access to the tools and opportunities that help them develop their abilities and advance in their professional career.
To support workforce diversity and development we participate in several state-funded labour-market programmes. Below are our two most recent, completed or ongoing applications.

Let's shape the workplace of the future together
A diverse and inclusive corporate culture is a continuous, shared effort. That is why we value open dialogue, our colleagues’ feedback, and the programmes and community initiatives that bring closer together colleagues working in different areas, at different sites and in different life situations.
Our goal is to build a community where everyone can feel that their opinion matters, that their knowledge is valuable, and that they have a place in ALTEO’s shared story.
